These long johns, like all Woolpower garments, are made in Sweden from a blend of merino wool and synthetic materials. They feature a terry-loop knitting on the inside which traps air and provides a maximum heat retention while wicking moisture away from your skin.
Woolpower long johns are made of a circularly knit fabric, and as a result, have no lengthwise seams down the legs. A gusset in the crotch ensures optimal comfort, and leg cuffs are sewn in.
Woolpower long johns are available in 2 different material weights: 400g/m2 and 200 g/m2.
If you're doing something where you're moving very little in cold weather i.e. hunting (where you're sitting in a tree stand), ice fishing, perhaps you're a crossing guard where there's not much movement, 400g will be the way to go.
If however you're doing something a little more aerobic or moving around you may find the 400g a little too much long john and in those cases 200g/m2 long johns would do the trick.
Machine washable in hot (60°C) water, and machine dry-able, Woolpower long johns are available in two weights: 200g/m2 or 400 g/m2.
