A durable, functional, highly efficient, cold weather base layer, the Woolpower Crewneck 200g/m² is extremely effective at wicking away moisture while retaining precious body heat.
The 200g/m² merino wool/synthetic blend fabric has a smooth outer surface and terry loop knitting (like a bath towel) on the inside - which means a dry, warm, and extremely comfortable layer against the skin.
The Woolpower sweater is made of a circular knit fabric and has no lengthwise seams. The only seams are where the shoulder joins the main torso portion of the shirt. The back is longer than the front to avoid gaps. Cuffs are sewn in.
All Woolpower garments are made from merino wool which is finer than standard wool, so you can wear merino products up against your skin without them being itchy or scratchy.
Expertly crafted, each Woolpower garment is sewn top to bottom by one person and include a seamstress' tag with the name of the person who made the garment.
Originally made for the Swedish military, Woolpower is designed to go through hot water washers and dryers and is machine washable in hot (60°C) water. Available in green, black, grey, or Pine Green (brown-y earthy green). Unisex.
