Very similar to the now discontinued Erik Frost 105 carving knife, Morakniv's Basic Carving knife sports a 2mm thick, 75mm long blade of thin, tapered stainless steel that provides very good edge retention and control. Included is a polymer handle with finger guard, and a symmetrical polymer sheath for both left and right handed carry.
