The King 220/1000 combination waterstone is a high quality Japanese waterstone featuring 2 surfaces: 1200 grit on one side (for fine shaping/sharpening) and an 8000 fine grit on the other for further finishing/polishing of an edge. Stone measures 185 x 64 x 25 mm. These stones require only a few minutes of soaking before using, and offer a good mix of cutting, wear and slurry characteristics. King stones are sold under the "Ice Bear" brand in Canada.
