Helle Temagami Knife

The Helle Temagami Knife is an excellent, robust general purpose outdoor knife. Designed in collaboration with Les Stroud (aka Survivorman), the Temagami epitomizes decades of knife making craftsmanship and an extensive knowledge of the outdoors. The Temagami's blade is a full, 3/4 width tang designed in such a way that the wood handle wraps around the bottom part of the tang, which keeps cold steel from resting against your palm when using in cold weather. The handle of the Helle Temagami Knife is suitable for mid to larger sized hands.

The Helle Temagami knife blade is approximately 4" long, sports a flat (Scandinavian) ground blade made from either Helle's carbon laminate steel or 14C28N steel variants. The carbon laminate steel features 2 kinds of steel; a hard core that ends up along the blade edge that holds an edge extremely well, with softer steel around the core to allow for flex. The Temagami Aleima 14C28N stainless version provides extra rigidity along with excellent edge sharpness, stability and corrosion resistance, and also features a sharpened 90 degree spine (for sparking with a ferro rod.)

A made in Norway leather sheath is included.
