Helle Skog Knife

The Helle Skog (Norwegian for "forest") is a carving/whittling knife that is designed for wood working, but is also stout enough to be used for general camp chores as well. The tip of the blade features traditional Norwegian "fas" blade work: rounded edges for getting fingers in close on the spine, and a thinner blade profile for precision work at the tip of it's Scandinavian ground edge. Using Helle's triple laminate steel, the Skog provides excellent edge retention, features a hand crafted beechwood handle, and comes with a traditionally styled Norwegian made sheath.
