The Helle Fossekallen is named after Norway’s national bird – proud, small and strong. It's the same design as the classic Fossekallen designed by Gunnar Lothe in 1998, and now available in two steel types - Aleima 12C27, or Helle's triple laminated H3LS stainless steels.

Designed by Gunnar Lothe in 1998 the Helle Fossekallen makes a great all round hunting and outdoor knife for those with small to medium sized hands. Made with two blade steel options to choose from: triple laminate H3LS stainless steel (center portion tests out to be 58-59 on the Rockwell harness scale, and outer, softer 18/8 stainless steel provides protection and flexibility), and non-laminate Aleima 12C27 steel blade, which provides greater rigidity. Both have high corrosion resistance. The Fossekallen features a curly birch handle, and a full grain leather sheath (with a snap) to help keep your Helle knife safe.
