The Helle Fjellkniven is designed for a wide range of every-day outdoor chores: carving, whittling, skinning, butchering, kitchen use, utility uses, etc. and is well suited to medium sized adult hands. Traditionally made of specially developed triple laminate stainless steel, the center portion tests to 58-59 on the Rockwell hardness scale, while the outside 18/8 stainless steel provides flexibility to the hard core. The new 12C27 non-laminate steel blade provides extra rigidity, and stainless performance in a drop point, scandi ground edge.
