This lightweight, multi-purpose ripstop nylon poncho is constructed from 40 denier polyurethane impregnated ripstop nylon, and offers rain protection for you and your pack. The edges are fitted with snaps to allow for closing and venting, it has a detachable waist string for windy conditions, as well as 10 tie out loops so it can be used as a tarp.

Exped's Poncho Tarp provides rain protection for you and your pack when worn as a poncho, but can also function as a tarp when slung using the 10 tie out points. Made from lightweight 40D ripstop nylon, with taped seams, it packs up small when not in use, but expands to a 260 x 145 cm (8.5" x 4.75") tarp when fully expanded. Snaps along the edges allow the wearer to close up or ventilate as needed, and a detachable waist cord provides protection in windy conditions.
