Woolpower LITE is the newest material in Woolpower’s lineup. A mix of 80% fine merino wool and 20% polyamide (nylon), Woolpower LITE is meant for use during high aerobic activities in colder weather (cycling, running, cross country skiing) or in cool or warmer temperatures where moisture wicking, protection form the growth of bacteria and odour, and insulation from the outside temperature (hot or cold) is needed.
Unlike Woolpower’s Ullfrotté knitted fabric, LITE is flat woven (no terry loops), and is therefore is thinner and cooler. All Woolpower LITE garments can be washed in a machine in cold, warm or hot (60° C) water without fear of shrinking or breakdown of the material. Woolower LITE features flat, triple stitched seams, and each and every garment is sewn by a single seamstress, who puts her name tag onto each piece.
