Helle Lappland Knife
The Helle Lappland Knife can be used for cutting firewood, wood clearing, bone-breaking and other heavy jobs, along the lines of a machete. It also gets used for processing reindeer meat and hides.
The Helle Lappland Knife is styled after the traditional knives of the Sami people; indigenous peoples of northern Europe, who's territory today encompasses parts of northern Sweden, Norway, Finland and the Kola Peninsula of Russia. The best known Sami livelihood is semi-nomadic reindeer herding, and the Helle Lappland knife pays homage to these people and their traditions.
The Helle Lappland has a 21.4cm (8 1/2") blade, made from 12C27 stainless steel and also sports brass accessories and a very unique embossed sheath, making it a unique addition to any knife collection.
