The Helle GT Knife is a large American-style outdoor knife that is made with laminate stainless steel. The blade of the Helle GT Knife contains two types of steel; a very hard steel on the blade edge to hold that sharp edge, and a softer steel around the core to allow for flex.

The Helle GT Knife is suitable for medium to larger sized hands, putting it in the same size range as the Helle Alden and the Helle Temagami knives.

The Helle GT is not a full tang knife but a stick tang, which makes it lighter weight and more nimble. The knife comes with a sheath that has a buckle just above the finger guard, so once in the sheath you can trust the knife will stay there. The knife also features an aluminum/leather finger guard.
