Our false bottoms for Esker (Erie/Ontario/Huron/Superior) or Kni-Co (Trekker/Packer/Alaskan Jr/Alaskan) stoves are made in Canada, and provide an elevated surface to place wood inside the stove burn chamber, thus negating the need for the use of sand or other material to protect the stove floor, and saving the bottom of the stove from wear and tear. Made from 16 gauge cold rolled C1008 carbon steel, and designed for minimal warping while being thick enough for years of use, our false bottoms fit inside the burn chamber along with stove pipes for transport, or when not in use.
